INTRODUCTORY LEVEL

INTRODUCTORY LEVEL


The Introductory level is for young children learning English for the first time and need to learn the grammar and vocab basics. The level consists of 3 stages, 6 months each. In the level students will learn to:

  • understand simple sentences
  • respond to personal questions
  • understand simple expressions
  • respond to simple expressions
  • understand and follow simple classroom instructions
  • listen to and repeat level-appropriate phrases
  • recognise and write words using phonics
  • read short words
  • write simple, personally relevant sentences
  • understand simple written instructions
  • recognise and copy words, phrases and short sentences

PRE-BEGINNER LEVEL

PRE-BEGINNER LEVEL


The Pre-Beginner level is for lower elementary school (SD) students studying the basics of English. The level consists of 3 stages, 6 months each. In the level students will learn to:

  • understand very short, simple texts, simple descriptions with pictures and simple written instructions
  • understanding familiar names, words and basic phrases
  • use simple phrases in writing and speaking
  • understand simple phrases about themselves. people they know and things around them and the general idea

BEGINNER LEVEL

BEGINNER LEVEL


The Beginner level is for upper elementary school (SD) students studying sentences and frequently used expression related to personal and family information, shopping, local area and school. The level consists of 3 stages, 10 months each.In the level students will learn to:

  • understand texts on familiar topics like routines, everyday signs and short descriptions
  • write short pieces of connected writing about themselves and topic familiar topics
  • describe their experiences and background, immediate surroundings and topics they are familiar with like school, family and their city

ELEMENTARY LEVEL

ELEMENTARY LEVEL


The Elementary level is for students entering or already in junior high school (SMP) studying English regularly used in work, school, leisure and travel. The level consists of 3 stages, 10 months each. In the level students will learn to:

  • describe experiences and events, dreams and give reasons and explanations about the opinions and plans
  • understand straightforward factual texts on familiar topics and every texts
  • understand general language and instructions
  • locate specific information by searching different texts
  • write longer pieces of writing about friends, everyday life, stories and descriptions
  • communicate and exchange information on familiar and routine topics

LOWER-INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

LOWER-INTERMEDIATE LEVEL


The Lower-Intermediate level is for students in upper junior high school (SMP) or those entering high school (SMA/SMK) studying English that contains both concrete and abstract topics as well as techincal and cultural discussions. The level consists of 3 stages, 10 months each. In the level students will learn to:

  • understand longer text relate to the student’s interests and articles outside their usual understanding
  • understand a broad number of vocab along with common phrases, idioms and specialised terms
  • write a variety of different texts that express opinions and views clearly
  • understand all kinds of speech on familiar topics such as lectures and programmes in the media and film
  • understand the main idea and some details of texts
  • interact with fluency and spontaneity that makes communication with native speakers smooth and without difficulty

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL


The Intermediate level is for students in high school (SMA/SMK) or university who have a strong foundation in English and a comfortable learning in English. The level consists of 3 stages, 10 months each. In the level students will learn to:

  • understand a wide range of long, complex texts from literature, professional and academic life
  • understand and identify point of detail in a text such as attitudes and opinions which are not clearly stated
  • write a variety of texts, especially argumentative essays that are clear, well-structured and detailed
  • use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional situations
  • show controlled use of a wide variety of grammar and vocab
