Simple Past Tense
MAKE SIMPLE PAST
There is only simple past tense of a verb for all subjects.
Make simple past of regular verbs by adding -ed to the base form of the verb.
There are many irregular verbs that change spelling or change completely in past tense form.
USE SIMPLE PAST
Use simple past tense to talk about completed actions in the past.
